happy shopping!!!
I have been receiving several repeat questions lately regarding my pendants, so I thought this would be a good time to do a f.a.q. post...
1. How many names can you fit? The answer...it depends. I know, clear as mud, huh? It depends on which size/shape setting you choose, the length of each name...here is a pendant I did recently (one of my bestselling designs) with 9 names and it turned out quite nice - they all fit even though some of the names are longer ones.
Keep in mind that this pendant is less than an inch in diameter. The fact that the print is small is intentional -- my goal is to create a unique and beautiful design in the pendant. The fact that it also has meaning is an added bonus -- the names aren't the central focus on the pendant and I think the print size keeps it from becoming a glaring piece of "name" jewelry. I am working on adding a larger size to the inventory, but it is not yet available. I do have an oval that is larger in size that can be used with any design and will fit 10+ names. Feel free to email me if you have any additional questions or would like to order the larger oval pendant in any design you see.
2. Can I wear my necklace in the shower? Yes, the necklaces/pendants are 100% waterproof.
3. Are your necklaces sterling silver? Yes - all chains, bezel settings and findings are sterling silver.
4. I want to buy a necklace for someone, but the family is still growing. When I create a pendant, it's a done deal - it cannot be added to or changed. So, my advice for this situation is to go with the square or circle initial necklaces - where you can add initial charms as new babies arrive. Also, I have done some bracelets lately at the customers' request - it allows for many charms to be added. You can, of course, add as many charms to a necklace as you would like, but I personally think 4 and under look best. Here are two examples recently done at a customers' request.
These were the most asked questions - but if you have another, don't hesitate to write me! I'm here and am always eager to help design the perfect piece for you.
I missed Patchwork yesterday in Santa Ana. Had plans to go, but laundry, groceries + children won out. sad. :( I was soooo looking forward to perusing the fine goods that Patchwork always brings, coffee in hand and time alone. But time is of the essence these days - we are leaving on quite a long trip next week and since I have a packed scheduled until then, time to prepare is a must. Anyway, this post is not about my ever-growing to-do list...but about the 1st ever Patchwork in Long Beach - next Sunday! Unfortunately, I'll miss this too, since we will be out of town, but you MUST go...you won't be disappointed.

So, E needed glasses...and here he is...they fit him, no? I was way worried it would be a battle to get him to keep them on. They must be helping, because it hasn't been much of a struggle (yet).

Next posts will be all business - but fun business! Stay tuned...
