And a review for my {other} baby, I Know A Mom...

Well, our company is gone and E is fighting a stomach flu bug...so today is proving to be a perfect opportunity to stay in pj's and relax after a very busy time last week with family. We had a great time with the cousins - I know E was sad to see them go. Luckily we have a revolving front door and are expecting more family + cousins this weekend, so we are going to work on recuperating and getting ready for more fun.

our week so far

My sister and I were lucky enough to get all four kids in bed early last night to enjoy a night out {and thanks to the husbands that stayed behind} - we enjoyed delicious appetizers and wine - followed by this ::


a pot of chocolate AND a pot of marshmallow fondue - with various treats to dip...pretzels, berries, rice krispy treats, meringue, peanut butter balls... oh. my. goodness. We shared laughs and enjoyed conversation with zero interruptions. {Well, except for our rude waitress.} A very nice time!

The cousins are enjoying themselves playing together, watching movies, going to the park...just hanging out...and cuddling ::

valentine's day

I spent my weekend by getting all of "life's necessities" done so I could take a little time off from real life this week. Why, you may ask?! My sister and her family...including 3 adorable cousins and playdates for E...are visiting us. Since my husband was working on Valentine's Day, I spent the day with my #2 Valentine - a lunch date out was followed by coloring valentines and making cookies. Unfortunately, the southern California weather forecast is a little disappointing for our guests this week . . . so we are hoping our little valentine packages of stickers, cookies & toys were a nice treat for our playtime this morning, despite the clouds & rain. I hoe you had a lovely weekend with your valentines...

We have enrolled E into a tumble 'n dance class at the local parks & recreation association. He is going with a friend every Monday and he is...l o v i n g...it!
